Jennifer Volcy is a self-represented contemporary artist best known for her work in portraiture and sports memorabilia. Her artwork is inspired by the people, communities, and experiences closest to her, as well as her own emotional responses to colour, texture, and design.
Self-taught, Jennifer identifies as a multi-disciplinary human with a passion for meeting & connecting with people from diverse backgrounds & all walks of life, with the stories that manifest reflected in her art.
Jennifer is of Haitian descent, was born in Brooklyn, raised in Toronto, studied in Baton Rouge where she attended Southern University as a Division 1 soccer player, and now resides in Southern California with her Russian Blue, Luna.
